If you want to see an abundance of Isabelle pictures, then keep on reading. I didn't realize how many pictures I took of her today until I went to upload them, but of course they are all adorable. :) The past three nights Isabelle has taken longer then normal to fall asleep. She isn't up what most people would consider late but it is late for her. Normally she is asleep around 8:00-8:15, but the past three nights she hasn't fallen asleep until 8:45. Today was a beautiful day so I gave Isabelle the option of taking her nap or not. She of course said no (which actually did surprise me because many days she will walk upstairs to her bed around nap time and want to nap). Anyways....we had a fun filled day outside in the sunshine, with no nap, and Isabelle had so much fun! And she was sound asleep in her bed by 7:10 tonight!
In the late morning we went to a park to play with Isabelle's friend Max. :) These two had lots of fun together climbing and playing in the sand!
I took this a second too late. They were both sitting side by side on the concrete slab with their toes in the sand smiling. It was so cute!
After Max went home, Isabelle and I enjoyed a picnic!
I then asked her what she wanted to do after lunch and she said she wanted to go to another park. So that is just what we did. :) And this one apparently is her favorite. Mine too actually :) I love that our little town has so many parks...and really love how they are never crowded! There was no one here!
A quick change into shorts for the rest of the day :)
After the park, I decided to continue to let Isabelle "run the day". I asked her what she wanted to do next and she said she wanted "Ice cream with straw", which means a shake. She also requested "Water with straw". So a quick run through the McDonald's and she happily drank almost all of her chocolate shake. :)
We then made a quick trip to Walmart where I let her pick out a sprinkler for the summer. Of course she picked out the caterpillar with the arms one that she was requesting from the Easter Bunny. :)
We then went inside and colored for a bit before heading back out. Isabelle loves picking "yellow flowers" as she calls it, or dandelions. :)
Checking out the sprinkler. :) It was a hit!
I think we will continue on with naps going forward, or maybe give Isabelle the choice once in a while. Tonight when I asked if she wanted to be done taking naps, she said no she still wanted to take them. But I did have a great day with my little girl playing all day with her. There is nothing I love more.
