We Love Summer!

We love summer around here!  I always thought that I didn't like the summer, I didn't like being hot all the time, and I love the holiday season.  But it seems the times have changed.....I LOVE summer!  I am sure it has something to do with all the fun Isabelle has outside everyday!  Plus the warm weather makes me feel like I somewhat live in Florida, we just need some palm trees in our yard. :)
Isabelle enjoyed another sunshiny day outdoors!

Inspecting her craft she made at Toddler Time today....the focus was on the earth so she put stickers on of the continents, and a smiley face.  I showed her where to put them and she did it all by herself.  It turned out great!!!

Playtime before lunch.

She can now climb to the top all by herself with no help!

Very proud of herself!

Time for a walk!

Splash!

After Isabelle's nap today it was even warmer out and the pool water was the perfect temperature! She had lots of fun and brought her Disney Princess toys in the pool!

A little break for bubbles and chalk.

And back to the pool!

Before bed with Elly.  Notice how pink Elly is?  After getting washed literally everyday, her original Elly could not get rid of a pretty bad smell.  Isabelle sleeps with Elly in her mouth and after every night and every nap Elly is soaking wet.  I constantly wash it, sometimes twice a day, but nothing helps.  Plus she walks around with Elly in her mouth half the time instead of holding it (like the picture below).  Anyways....I ordered a new one and we have had it for a couple weeks.  I finally washed this new one and gave it to her tonight before bed, she looked at it for a minute and then it went right in her mouth and got lots of hugs.  Her original Elly is getting one final wash before getting packed away.  :(  I love how soft and pink this one is again!  I am sure we will need a new one again at some point!  Let's just hope Isabelle never figures it out!

Memorial Day Afternoon

After Isabelle's nap today we went over to Grandma and Grandpa Larsen's.  Isabelle made sure she brought plenty of outdoor toys along and had lots of fun getting pushed around on her car, pushing her mower, and coloring with chalk!  She also like petting their cat Sammy, playing the piano, and showing off her newest skill......somersaults.  (She LOVES doing somersaults!)
Enjoy the pictures!

Uncle Dan's turn!

Isabelle is now fast asleep after a fun, busy Memorial Day!  Hope yours was great as well!

Swimsuit Fun!

Before I post the 'swimsuit fun' pictures, I had to put these two up.  They are of Isabelle before church yesterday morning.  She looked so old to me!  What happened to my little baby!!??

On to today's pictures.  Isabelle got a new swimming pool!  Of course it is a Disney Princess one!  She absolutely loves it!!! We blew it up yesterday evening so it would be all ready for her and she climbed in wearing her clothes and LOVED it! She loves the princesses on it and the little window to peak though! She was saying "pool" over and over!  This morning I filled it up so she could go in it after breakfast since it was so warm out.....unfortunately the water was still ice cold and she did not want to play in it.  Hopefully by this evening and tomorrow the water is warm enough for her to actually get in!  Since she was covered in sunscreen she just spent the morning playing outside in her swimsuit!

Testing the water out!

Peek-a-boo!

Loves pointing to the princesses!

Dora gets to test the cold water out.

Popsicle time!

You can't really see her face very well here, but you can tell she is not happy about how cold the water was!

Much better!

And speaking of Disney.....we are very happy to say that we changed the resort we will be staying at in September when we go to Disney World!  We got lucky with another special and we switched our resort to Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter!  I am unbelievably excited, especially since they just redid all the rooms last month!  If anyone is interested in the new pictures here is a link that shows the newly renovated rooms!
Happy Memorial Day!
