Our Sunday

We had a fun, family Sunday today!  After breakfast we headed off to church.  It amazes me how well Isabelle does in church.  She sits quietly next to me for about half the service then will stand for the other half usually eating a snack and drinking some water.  She does so well!!!  We get lots of compliments on her cuteness and her perfect behavior during church! 

After church today Isabelle enjoyed some playtime before lunch! 

Cousin Ava made Isabelle a Mickey hat very similar to this one.  Isabelle loved it so much that unfortunately it got ripped apart from all the use.  So we made another one for her and I loaded it up with heavy tape so it can't rip!  She loves wearing it around! (Thanks for the idea Ava!)

After Isabelle's nap this afternoon we went to Kindermusik as today they had a very special Daddy Day class!!  There were 12 other dad's and their children there and Isabelle and daddy had lots of fun!  I sat in the corner and tried to sneak a few pictures but most of them turned out very dark.  Here are some of the pictures I did capture though!

Isabelle is Ready for Disney World.....

Isabelle is all ready for her next Disney World trip!  This morning before Praise and Play we found the Minnie ears and Mickey hat that Kevin and I wore on our honeymoon! :)  Isabelle had lots of fun trying the Minnie ears and the Mickey top hat on!  She is all ready for her next trip!  Even though it is 15 months away, knowing we will be back at Walt Disney World in 15 months (and for 11 whole days!!!) makes the countdown go very quickly! 

We will have to get Isabelle her own set of Mickey ears on this next trip! :)

Back at Rainbow But With Friends

This morning Isabelle and I headed back over to the open play at Rainbow, but this time we brought friends along!  We once again were the only ones there and had lots and lots of fun!  Enjoy the pictures!

We had a great morning playing and I am sure we will be back several more times, at least until the warmer weather is here to stay!

Brush, Brush Like a Big Girl

Isabelle no longer wants mommy or daddy to brush her teeth for her at night.  She insists on doing this all by herself!  She really likes to make sure she gets all the yummy bubble burst flavor toothpaste off her toothbrush!  I need to get her a little step stool for the bathroom so she can reach the sink on her own.  She is getting to be such a big girl and it is little things like this that show just how much she is growing up.

So Many New Words

The past couple days Isabelle has surprised us with saying some more words!   Previously she has stuck with mama, dada, my mom, and started saying the start of words.....such as Si or Sim for Simba,  Pu Pu for Puppy or Pooh Bear and Min for Minnie Mouse!

Her latest words have been said incredibly clear.  Her newest words she has said over the past couple days have been...

• Kiss.  While giving daddy a kiss :)  How sweet
• Tire.  She said this while pointing to a car tire on a picture.  She said it twice in a row!
• Clock.  Pointing at our clock.
• Shoe.  Isabelle held up her foot and pointed to her shoe and said shoe, clear as day.
• Star.  While pointing to a little star on a pair of her pants.

We are so proud of Isabelle and it is so cute to hear her little voice start talking.  It is amazing how much she knows and we cannot wait to hear her next words!

Cousins

This morning my sister and her family came over so Isabelle, Ava, and Isaiah could all play!  They had lots of fun playing together with her kitchen things and watching a Pooh and Minnie Mouse dvd.  After all the playing the cousins were hungry so they stayed for lunch and then Isabelle went quickly asleep for her nap.

After Isabelle's nap we are going to get some more playtime in outside.....after a quick run to Target of course. :)

All Day Outdoors

Today we spent literally all day outside playing!  With the exception of Praise and Play class, lunch, dinner and her nap, Isabelle spent every other spare minute playing outside! 

Kevin had the morning off to go to Praise and Play with us and after that we took Isabelle on a wagon ride and played on her swing set until lunch.  It was about mid 50's this morning and very windy so I had her wear her hat so her ears would not hurt from all the wind!

During Isabelle's nap, I turned the heat off, opened the windows, and took down all of our snowman/winter decorations!  We are ready for spring around here!  When Isabelle woke up at 3:00 it was about 70 degrees outside and beautiful!  (I did make her wear her big winter boots though since the grass was soaking wet and full of mud) We played outside until dinner!

Isabelle went on her first ride on her Disney tricycle outside today!  She has rode it around the basement before and was very happy to have it outside.

50 minutes later, we were done.  Yes 50 straight minutes!  Let's just say my back was hurting from pushing her along bent over the whole time!! Well worth it though!

This lasted about 2 seconds.  She doesn't really like this stroller anymore.

All in all, we had a wonderful, fun day outside!  Simba even enjoyed the beautiful weather, from safely inside of course!
