Playing at Grandma and Grandpas

Today Isabelle and I went up to Grandma and Grandpa's house to play for the day!  My parents bought the grand kids a new Disney Princess kitchen and massive play food set to play with when they are at their house.  They even repainted the refrigerator that my sister and I use to use when we were little to match the kitchen!  It is so cute and Isabelle LOVED playing with it all!!

We then went to lunch at Valentino's! Someone is happy (and for some reason insisted on sitting in a highchair!) :)

Out with the Old...In with the New

Thursday we finally did something that has been long overdue.  Traded in Kevin's car.  He has had this car for 10 years and there were so many things that drove us crazy about it! :)  We knew with another baby here soon we would need something bigger so we got a van. :)  I never thought I would be so excited about a van, but I am. :)  Its a Chrysler Town and Country Touring and has everything we need.  I love the moon roof and extra room, Isabelle loves the built in TV player. :)   Best of all it means that Kevin gets to drive our Accord to work that is only 7 months old instead of his unreliable car everyday. :)  And Isabelle is more then happy to cruise around in the van watching movies. :)  I haven't even listened to the radio yet cause she loves the movie player that much!

And not to worry, this van will be just as much a Disney World car as the Accord.  We have the Mickey antenna toppers, I put a WDW bumper sticker on, we have a peeking Mickey window cling on through Isabelle's window, ordered all 4 Mickey people plus the cat for the back, and have the Walt Disney World license plate frame. :)  Yes we are slightly obsessed with decking the car out in Disney World items but it brings a smile to all our faces every time we see them. :)

I Am Back!!

We are back on the blog!!! For some reason I was unable to upload pictures for weeks and actually took advantage of the "down time" and decided to rest instead of typing out updates!  But today it appears to be working again so I guess it's time I post something!

Baby is doing great still! It's hard to believe there is only 10 weeks to go!!!!!  The doctor appointments keep going well and I passed the gestational diabetes test thankfully, and now we are in the last stages of this pregnancy and it is going by so fast!  I am feeling okay...nothing horrible to complain about out the ordinary.  Lots of backaches, exhaustion, lack of sleeping, starting to swell, and feeling huge!! But that all comes with being in the last trimester and I know it is all worth it.  My c-section was officially scheduled for April 3rd, which is kinda cute...having Isabelle's birthday on a 3rd of the month as well. :)  We have the babies room mostly all ready to go.  Here are a few pictures.  :)  I have the name all ready to hang in these cute letters with pink ribbon, but we are keeping the name secret till she is born. :)

We have also been doing Valentine crafts to get ready for Valentines Day! Isabelle made a really cute banner that is hanging on our fireplace now. :)

 We have made a few trips this month to the Cherry Berry frozen yogurt place right down the street!  Isabelle (and mommy) love it!

The past week and a half we have been somewhat home bound.  Last week both Isabelle and I were battling bad colds and coughs and spent lots of time at home resting.  Just when we were over those Isabelle got really sick this week and had the stomach flu for two days.  Our poor girl was throwing up all day Monday and into Tuesday morning.  Luckily she never got sick today so I am praying that she is all over this once and for all and that Kevin and I don't get it!

To help save many middle of the night bedding changes I had her sleeping on towels and blankets. :(

Luckily today since she was better I washed all her bedding and Isabelle had fun jumping into her piles of pillows and stuffed animals. :)

Well with the blog back up and running I will probably be back with our regular posts and Isabelle pictures :)

Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year!!! 2013 is going to be a great year!!! It's the year our little girl will be born (in only 3 short months).  It's the year we will be back at Disney World for 9 days this fall!  It's the year Isabelle officially starts preschool!  It's the year of many new and exciting adventures with our family of 5 (yes Simba included!)

We had a great first day of the new year.  Grandma and Grandpa came down to take us to the Monster's Inc movie and Isabelle was so excited!!  She loves Mike and Sully (even has two Sully stuffed animals and a Mike from Disney World!) so was very excited their movie would be in a theater!  And lucky for us it was at a great time, 11 am!

After the movie we did lots of shopping and playing with everyone!  Ava, Isaiah, and Isabelle playing in Barnes and Noble.   Isabelle got an owl stuffed animal and an owl book. :)

Kevin and I were walking to the car to go home later in the afternoon and Isabelle fell asleep on his shoulder at the mall.  This never happens!  In fact, she has maybe taken 1 or 2 naps in the past 2 months.  We knew she must be really tired, so we just sat on a couch at the mall and let her sleep :)  Luckily she slept a while and awoke just in time for a dinner at Champps with everyone!

**I had to post this picture too....this is Isabelle a few nights ago...once again stalling big time before bed.  She is so tired at night since she doesn't nap but refuses to go to bed and will do anything to stall and put it off.  She wanted to read on her beanbag forever with daddy but was so tired she fell asleep while he was reading.  So precious. :)
