Happy Halloween!!

Happy Halloween!!!  Isabelle had TONS of fun trick or treating tonight in our neighborhood!  She loves getting candy and was very good about saying "Thank You" to most of the houses. :)  Grandma and Grandpa Larsen came down to see Isabelle in her adorable Minnie Mouse dress and to hand out candy for us while we were out!

Our house on Halloween night!

Hope everyone had a Happy Halloween!!  As much as I love fall, that does not compare to my love for Christmas!!!!!  As I type this all of our fall decorations are already down!  And Christmas goes up tonight!  Call me crazy, but I love Christmas so much, I like to have everything up as long as possible! 

Halloween Fest

Tonight Isabelle dressed back up in her Halloween costume and we went to our towns Annual Halloween Fest.  One of the things I love about our town, is all the activities they have for families.  We had the Fall Festival earlier in the month, and in addition to that, they put on the Halloween Fest!  My parents came down to take us to it and we all had lots of fun!  Isabelle enjoyed the kids "haunted maze room", the carnival games, and all the trick or treating!  The candy sure is piling up around our house!

The cupcake walk....much like the cake walk we use to have at our elementary school carnivals!  Grandpa won a cupcake for Isabelle!  She ate the whole thing!

After the Halloween Fest, we went out for dinner at TGIF's!  Isabelle requested to sit by daddy and grandpa. :)

We have had so much fun the past couple weeks with all the Halloween activities!  Tomorrow night Isabelle will actually go trick-or-treating in our neighborhood! We can't wait for that!

Halloween Fun Continues and Fun in the Park

Halloween must be close with all these activities Isabelle has been up to lately!  Today marked another day of fun and festivities!  We headed up to Ames in the late afternoon for Reiman Gardens Spirits in the Gardens Halloween Day.  It was complete with crafts, trick or treating, and dancing insects!  My parents and my sisters family were there as well and it was lots of fun!

They were suppose to have a live owl.....however when we got there it was a hawk.  Isabelle wasn't too thrilled about the hawk since we have been telling her she would see the owl.  Owl's are her current favorite animal!

Afterwards we went back to my parents house for dinner.  It was Halloween themed foods with spider cupcakes, mummy wrapped hot dogs, and jack-o-lantern pizza!
