Christmas Eve!!!

Happy Christmas Eve!!!  We hope everyone had a great day and was able to reflect on the reason we celebrate Christmas.

I am so glad our church has an earlier option for Christmas Eve service! They have one at 4, 6, and 10 so we always go to the 4:00 one, which is perfect with kids!! Christmas Eve day just isn't complete without Christmas Eve service!

Little Avrey looked so adorable in her Christmas dress all ready for church!

Even the 4:00 service was packed!!! We had to sit in the 'overflow' section, which actually worked out perfectly since Avrey could sit and play next to us and move around! :)

Isabelle was soooo excited and proud to hold her own candle this year! She was so sweet and said that we light the candle for Jesus' birthday! Love her heart!

Loves to stand all day long!

She was also so excited when the final song was "Go Tell It On The Mountain!"  She did all her actions from her preschool program!

My sweet little Avrey Ann

When we got home Isabelle put out her reindeer food!

She also put out cookies we baked, little doughnuts for the elves, and chocolate milk (her choice)

Avrey got in the picture and immediately knocked over the chocolate milk :)

Since both Avrey and Isabelle are sound asleep, I think Santa will be busy soon at our house! We wish everyone a Merry Christmas!

Frosty the Snowman

With the weather being almost 50 degrees this afternoon, Isabelle was very excited to go outside and play, so her and Kevin went outside and decided to build a snowman! Most of the snow was quickly melting but they did manage to make Frosty with some of the remaining snow in the backyard!

Isabelle got our her rock bucket from the summer (she collects tons of rocks!) and decorated frosty with them. :)  He is missing some arms and a mouth, but this is just how she liked him. :)

Avrey and I stayed nice and warm inside. :)  Which is probably a good thing, considering Avrey now has a bad case of the stomach bug.  I think we will be making a call to the doctor tomorrow and I certainly hope this is not as long lasting as Isabelle's was! Prayers to get well soon little Avrey, we love you!!

Christmas Time at Preschool!

Today was Isabelle's Christmas Program at preschool.  She was so excited before school started for us to come and watch her!

How cute is she??? We were so incredibly proud of her! She sang the songs and did the little actions to most of the songs which is a first for her.  She was so happy and proud of herself.  She really loved the song 'Go Tell It On The Mountain'.  It was so incredibly cute to watch.

Avrey was pretty excited too!

Waiting for the songs to begin!

So cute!

Daddy and his two girls

After the program there was tables full of Christmas crafts to make and cookies to eat! Isabelle loved having Grandma and Grandpa there!

Standing on a chair as usual :)

Thanks for coming down mom and dad! I know it means the world to Isabelle to have you at all her programs!
We are so proud of you Isabelle and loved watching you sing your Christmas songs!  You and Avrey are so precious to us.

Rewind

I have not blogged in forever it seems like!! We have been busy with preschool, Christmas shopping, wrapping presents, Kevin taking his MBA classes, holiday crafts, and unfortunately being sick.

Poor Isabelle was sick for 7 straight days with a horrible stomach bug.  She was miserable.  Missed school, had two doctor visits, and spent Saturday in the Emergency Room.  Two blood tests, urine samples, and an x-ray later, all that could be concluded was just a bad viral infection.  I would say so considering how bad it was, and how long it lasted! She spent pretty much 7 days just laying in bed, watching Disney Junior, and sleeping.  Thankfully she is better now and seems to be back to herself.

Avrey pretty much spends all day on the go.  She is constantly crawling a hundred miles a minute, and standing holding on to anything and everything.  Her favorite thing to do is climb the stairs over and over and over and over. All day long.  She is extremely strong and determined little girl!

I was looking through the camera and found some pictures I needed to post still so this will just be a random post of the past few weeks. :)

A couple weeks ago Ava turned 7!! We went up to my sisters house for her family birthday party! Here are a few pictures from that...

I found these on the camera from two weeks ago.  Isabelle must have taken them. :)  I think this was when Avrey had her 103.9 fever for a couple days since her face was soooo red.  Thankfully she is all better now too!

My silly, adorable, sweet Isabelle Ann.  I love you!

She loves playing games!!!!!!

This is how we find Avrey when she wakes up.  Always standing up waiting for us to pick her up.  Melts my heart.

Hopefully I can be better about blogging again now that I am all caught up!!! Hope everyone is having a wonderful Holiday season!

8 months!

Tuesday little Avrey Ann turned 8 months old!!! These 8 months have been the fastest of my life! She is growing up way to fast and it's scary to think we will be planning her first birthday in just a few months!!! I am truly treasuring every little "baby" thing she does.  Her sounds in the baby monitor, her silly expressions, her blowing raspberries, her baby talk, her little hand grabbing my hair and face every time I rock her, when she reaches her little arms up to me to be picked up, her big adorable smile, her tiny toes and short little legs, the way she marches when she walks holding on to our hands, shaking her head no at me over and over when I try to give her something to eat she doesn't want, her growing sense of independence to do things herself, but yet her very dependence on wanting me near her always.  I could go on and on and on.  I love her more and more each moment of each day.  And I am so blessed and grateful to spend each of these moments with her. Just like when Isabelle was little, being at home with them, taking care of their every needs and wants, and watching every little thing new, or old, that Avrey does means the world to me and is something I will never take for granted.  I love you so much Avrey Ann.

Happy 8 months  Avrey Ann! You daddy, mommy, and sister love you more then you will ever know.
