Disney on Ice

This evening we went to Disney On Ice!!!  My parents took us and my sisters family, and I think we all agreed it exceeded our expectations!  They did little shows for many of Disney's most popular movies and it was so fun to watch!  Isabelle loved it and clapped when the performances were over and waved to most of the characters!  When the show was over she kept saying more, more, more!  I am glad she loved it so much!
Here are some of the many, many pictures taken tonight!

We had floor seats and were literally right next to the ice rink!  It was wonderful!

The Incredibles.

Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Donald.

Alice in Wonderland.

Peter Pan.

Playing with her light-up wand during intermission.

The Lion King.  I loved Pumba!

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

Aladdin.

The Little Mermaid.

Princess and the Frog.

All the Disney Princesses!

Thank you mom and dad for a fun evening!  We all got a little bit of Disney to tide us over until the big trip in 6 months! :)

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!  We hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with family, friends, food, and all that we have to be thankful for.
On Thanksgiving day, we went to Cedar Rapids to Kevin's Grandma's house.  Kevin, Isabelle, and I ate Thanksgiving lunch there with Grandma and Grandpa Larsen, Uncle Dan, Great Grandma Powers, and Great Uncle Mark and Great Aunt Diana.  Unfortunately I was sick with a stomach bug that morning and during the day which left Kevin in charge of the pictures.  :)  He did get three taken :)

The stomach bug went away but ended up turning into a fever of 103.4!!! I only write that number because it is seriously the second highest fever I have ever had in my life, next to the one I had during labor that was in the 104's!  Anyway...I went to bed at 4:30 on Thanksgiving, and thanks to medicine, my fever finally broke.  While I was laying in bed listening to Kevin and Isabelle play that evening it made me realize once again how truly grateful I am to have them in my life.  They are both my world and Isabelle adores her daddy so much.  They are the loves of my lives and knowing they were having so much fun playing made it a little easier to let myself just rest and get better.

Today I woke up fever free so we went to Ames for Thanksgiving at my parents.  There we celebrated with Aunt Amy, Uncle Andy, Ava, Isaiah, Grandma, Grandpa, Great Uncle Dave, and Cousins Tricia, Kayla, and Rochelle!
Isabelle and Ava playing.

Time to eat!

My cousin Tricia on the left, and her daughters Kayla, and Rochelle.  It was so good to see them, they live in Texas and Oklahoma so we don't get to see each other often, but when we do it is always lots of fun!

My mom, dad, and Uncle Dave.

Sisters!

Two love birds. :)  (Sorry Andy...I told you I was putting this on the blog) :)

Kevin and me, while Isabelle was running around not eating :)

Playing again with cousin Ava.

Happy Thanksgiving!
