We have a temporary camera, thanks to my wonderful friend Jill for letting me borrow their extra until we get one, so I should be back up posting pictures regularly again. :)
For now...here is our week in review.
Monday: Isabelle had her very first dentist appointment. The dentist was great and more concerned about just getting her use to coming there every 6 months, then actually doing a cleaning. All they did was count her teeth while she watched Mickey Mouse on their TV. :) They did inform us that one of her 2nd molars was breaking through...which puts her total teeth at 17! When she was done at the dentist she got a new Belle toothbrush, a balloon, sugar free lolly pop, and got to pick a toy out from their treasure chest. Isabelle did great and we will go back in another 6 months for her second visit!
Tuesday: We went to Toddler Time at the library as usual, and then over to Isabelle's friend Max's house to play with him and her other friend Jacob. Isabelle loves playing with these two! Tuesday was also Kevin and my third wedding anniversary. Kevin brought me home some beautiful roses for the occasion. I am blessed to have a husband who is also my best friend and just totally gets me. We look forward to celebrating a lifetime of anniversary's together.
Wednesday: Isabelle and I did lots of playing at home and also a little Christmas shopping! Actually, I would say we are 80% of the way done with our shopping. I love getting it done early and looking for bargains online! Most of our shopping actually has been done online (only if I get free shipping though!) I need to start wrapping though, the computer room closet is piling up with presents and its only a matter of time before Isabelle gets a hold of them! We do already have our tree up and Kevin said it needs some presents under there too.....maybe I will start wrapping tonight!
Thursday: Isabelle and I went to Praise and Play and then did a little more Christmas shopping actually for her! Luckily I snuck some things in the cart without her paying too much attention to it! Before lunch I got out Candy Land to see if she would have any interest in playing. She was very excited to start playing and loved drawing the cards and naming the colors. About half way through the game she started picking the pieces and cards up and said "Done" while putting the game away. :) It was fun while it lasted! :)
And on to the castle.....a favorite always.
Hope everyone is having a great week as well!
