Tis the Season!

Christmas trees.  Santa Clause.  Fireworks.  Holiday music.  Ornament making.  (And Build-A-Bear).  That describes our Friday night in a nutshell!  We headed out to Jordan Creek Town Center this evening to celebrate their annual Kicking off the Christmas Season with Santa's arrival, tree lightening, and fireworks!  It was so much fun and for someone who is already very much in the holiday spirit, this was perfect!

As soon as we got to the mall, we went to Build-A-Bear.  Isabelle had a little gift certificate and I had a coupon and the nice lady let us double up on coupons....which meant her bear cost literally $0.  How perfect is that!?
Isabelle picked out a teddy bear (she already has the monkey, elephant, and an owl).  She said she wanted to name him Teddy.  And we did get Teddy a Santa hat.  She loves him and is snuggling close to him asleep as I type this. :)

We then ate a quick dinner (and some cookie for dessert) before heading outside.

The dueling pianos played Christmas music while we waited for Santa's arrival from the North Pole.

The fireworks and Christmas Tree lighting!

Santa walked right by us after his arrival.  He then was ushered inside!  Isabelle LOVES Santa, and said Santa and HoHo, over and over and over tonight. :)  She was so happy to see him!

We then "followed" Santa inside.  I didn't realize we were going to actually be doing a Santa meeting tonight, but Isabelle wanted to see him more!  So inside we went to meet Santa!

She did not want to sit in his lap!  But happily accepted a coloring book from him and gave him a high five!

After meeting Santa, we went to Creative Kidstuff where kids could make their own ornaments.  Isabelle made a candy cane, which is now hanging on our tree. :)

What a fun Friday night we had.  Isabelle went to bed a little later then normal, but how could we not let her stay up for Santa Clause! :)  Happy Holidays!
