We had a very fun, busy Sunday today. We started off with church, then back home Isabelle went on a long wagon ride and played outside until lunch! After lunch it was time for her nap and when she woke up Grandma and Grandpa Van Slyke were here to give her her Valentine's Day presents. After she opened her presents and played with them, we all headed to Target where Isabelle got new plates, sippy cup, shoes and that is just naming a few things! Isabelle and I also made a Valentine's cake today which she helped me stir the batter on and put sprinkles on the frosting. Daddy and her gobbled it up after dinner tonight! Kevin has tomorrow off so we are very excited to give Isabelle her Valentine's Day gifts after breakfast tomorrow!!
Carrying around stickers Grandpa and Grandma brought her
Standing in front of her Valentines Presents from Grandpa and Grandma.....books, stuffed animal, clothes, stickers, coloring book, Valentine light up toy (which she loves!). Thank you!!!!
Pushing her new stuffed animal in her stroller with several other things!
She loves walking up the stairs holding onto the railing......makes me very nervous! (Don't worry someone was right behind her!)
On the way to Target, Isabelle finally got to ride for the first time facing forward in the car!! Technically you can turn the car seat forward at one year but it is recommended they stay backwards as long as possible. She was getting to long to face backward and her feet were hitting the seat, so today Kevin turned the seat around! I LOVE having her facing forward! It will be so fun to see her and have her look out the front window with me. She really seemed to enjoy it too! And the pictures were taken before I tightened her seat belt...I noticed how loose the straps were in these pictures which would have not been good!
Happy early Valentine's Day!
