Isabelle has been logging lots of hours sleeping these past couple days. Today she woke up after 8:30, napped until 4:00, and was back in bed for the night at 8:15. She is one tired little girl. Luckily I think it is safe to say she is on the upward swing of her sickness. She never had any more of the croup cough, but has had a horrible runny nose (and does NOT like us constantly wiping it), and has a pretty deep "regular" cough. We have been trying to keep her away from germs and any exposure to them so she can get all better. Needless to say the poor thing hasn't left the house since last Saturday except for doctor appointments!
Lucky for Isabelle, grandma and grandpa came over to cheer her up yesterday afternoon/evening. And she was SO happy. I wish I had taken more pictures but these three are all I got. She was all smiles and hugging them and running around talking non-stop. She sure was cheered up!
After her long nap today she enjoyed lots of fresh air playing outside in the backyard and seemed to be loving finally getting out. Tomorrow Kevin and I are going to take her to the park so she can actually go somewhere and still be outside in the sunshine. We are thankful her croup never got any worse and continue to pray she makes a speedy recovery!
