Happy Father's Day!!!

"Any man can be a father, but it takes someone special to be a dad". 

So in my eyes....what is Kevin to Isabelle?  He protects her, he makes her laugh, he lets her have fun, he gives her kisses when she gets hurt, he always puts her first, he loves her unconditionally, he respects her, he lets her try new things, he lets her grow, he lets her be a 2 year old, he is the bath giver, the swing pusher, the playground climber, the one she loves so much."

We started out fathers day with Kevin opening Simba and Isabelle's gifts (or Isabelle opening them for him)

Simba gave Kevin lots and lots of candy...which Isabelle opened and started eating before breakfast!

Isabelle made Kevin a wooden box with her hand prints we traced and she colored.  It says "World's Best Dad, Hands Down. Love U"

After breakfast we headed off for a day at the beach! It was a gorgeous day and Isabelle loved jumping in the water and playing in the sand!

We then went and played on the playground!

 

We had a picnic at the park!

We got in the car and started driving home when Isabelle started crying saying she wanted to go back to the beach to play.  So we turned around and went back! 

After another hour and a half or so at the beach, we were finally on our way home!  Grandma and Grandpa came by in the afternoon/evening to see Isabelle and ordered us take out from Granite City!  Thank you!

Happy Father's Day dad! You have been such a role model for me in my adult years and such a great Grandpa to Isabelle! We love you!

Thank you Kevin for being the best dad to Isabelle.  She simply adores you.  Happy Father's Day to all the dad's out there!
