Day 8: Walt Disney World Vacation

Day 8: 06/07.  Day 8 of our vacation was in one word relaxing.  We made sure we had a few "open days" so people could do what they wanted, whether it be go to a park, downtown, sleep, or stay at the resort.  This was one of those days and it was much needed for Isabelle.  We stayed at the resort all day until we left for dinner and went swimming, played in the sand, built sand castles, and made good use of the playground.  I even did some laundry!

This resort is too beautiful to not spend some extra time here!

Isabelle was very happy to play on the turtles and lounge around in the hammock!

Duck footprints in the sand. :)

How beautiful is this?!

We went swimming in the pool.  It is so nice it has a zero depth entry in the big pool and they even have a separate kiddie pool too!

Me showing Isabelle that the slide was okay to go down. :)

After swimming, Kevin, Isabelle and I went to the playground.  It is tucked away in a gorgeous, almost secluded area!

A little lizard friend......

Isabelle was so happy to have this all to herself!

We then went and played in the sand under the palm trees.  It doesn't get much better then this!

For dinner that night we all met up at Mickey's Backyard BBQ at Fort Wilderness Resort and Campgrounds.  It is held under a pavilion which was a good thing since it down poured during it!  So much, in fact, that they have all 600 guests attending their money back. So it was a free dinner!

Isabelle finally started eating here.....if you call two slices of cheese, a hot dog bun, some tomatoes, and an ice cream bar good eating! :)

Love those Mickey Ice Cream Bars!

Chip and Dale, Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy dancing!

Time for a yummy Popsicle!

Smiling at Aunt Amy being silly!

What a relaxing, fun, carefree Disney day we had!
