Day 4: 06/03. Day 4 of our vacation was a hot, hot, hot one! Luckily we were headed off to one of Disney's water parks for the day...Blizzard Beach! This place is so much fun and has endless water slides, wave pools, play and splash areas, and a huge lazy river.
Before heading out we ate breakfast outside at the resort.
These are more pictures of Caribbean Beach.
Arriving at Blizzard Beach. It is suppose to be a ski resort that has melted from the hot Florida sun!
This is Summit Plummet. The biggest water slide in the country....Kevin braved it out and went on it! There was no way I could ever go on that!
My parents were nice enough and rented us out our own lawn chairs in an enclosed sandy, shady area. It was so nice!
We took Isabelle to Tike's Peak and she loved it. There was a kiddie pool, splash fountains, and water slides she could go down all by herself. I didn't get any pictures since I didn't want the camera getting wet! I also took Isabelle on the lazy river for about 45 minutes! She sat in her own inner tube and floated along and loved it!
After a morning of fun there, Isabelle had just had enough. We will just say she had a "typical 2 year old meltdown" so Kevin and I decided to just take her back to the resort where she could rest. She was asleep before we even got on the bus to go back.
After resting in the cool air conditioner during the afternoon we went back to Downtown Disney for more shopping and to eat dinner!
I always tell myself that one of these days I will go on this hot air balloon ride that takes you over Downtown Disney. It looks like so much fun!
This picture is so cute!
Time for dinner at Cap N Jacks!
Isabelle ate about 5 noddles, a bowl of shredded cheese and a cookie for dinner. And of course her chocolate milk. :)
Cousin Isaiah eating corn on the cob.
Isabelle and Ava...they are really starting to look more alike and Isabelle just adores Ava!
Isaiah eating seafood...he will eat anything!
Waiting for the bus to head home.
After Isabelle was asleep, my mom and I went back to the Magic Kingdom at 11:30pm! They were open till 2am for Disney resort guests so we took full advantage and stayed till about 1:15 before heading back!
We rode the teacups!
And Thunder Mountain!
Many, many more pictures to come from the next seven days!
