It's Egg Burn Time Again!

It's that time of year again.  The Egg Burn!  My dad's side of the family has an annual family reunion that has been around long before I was even around!  It developed the name the "Egg Burn" over the years.  We all gather for a breakfast in the park which always turns into a lunch later as well.  I have been going to this since I was born and Kevin said today "this was his 5th egg burn" he attended!  And Isabelle's second!  The best part about this is my Aunt Barbie (my dad's sister) and her husband drive in from Indiana every year.  This year my cousin Zach and his son Neil drove in from Ohio, and my other cousin Katie and her daughters Bethany and Madelyn drove in from North Carolina!  It was so great to see them! Katie and I pretty much grew up together as we are the same age and have countless memories of all the fun we had.  Another fun part about the weekend is that everyone on my dad's side is huge Disney World fans!  Even my dad's cousins and their kids!  You can imagine all the Disney World talk that takes place!

We left Saturday right after lunch so that Isabelle could take her nap in the car and stopped at the outlet mall for some shopping!  Grandma and Grandpa were extremely generous as always and bought Isabelle a lot! She got dresses, shirts, pajamas, skirts, socks, toys, a hat, and "jewlrey", just to name a few.  (Isabelle says "thank you Grandma and Grandpa"). Isabelle is quite the little shopper and quickly taking after her cousin Ava.  Isabelle will pick up a shirt or dress, hold it up to herself, then hand it to Grandma or Grandpa to buy!

After the outlet mall we headed out to eat at my parents favorite pizza place they went to growing up.  Isabelle got to meet her cousins Bethany, Madelyn, and Neil for the first time!

We all went for a swim before bed.  Isabelle wasn't a fan of the cold water or the fact that it was deep so she couldn't touch the bottom.  So our swim was very short!

Isabelle slept great at the hotel!  I shared a double bed with her and Kevin got his own for the night.  She fell asleep great and stayed asleep all night just like at home.  She woke up literally laughing out loud in her dream.  She must have loved having mommy sleep right next to her all night!

We left shortly after noon and Isabelle quickly fell asleep on the ride home after eating some chicken fingers and fries.

We had a great weekend seeing family!  Luckily my Aunt Barbie, Katie, Bethany, and Madelyn will be in town for the next few days so we are looking foward to spending more time with them and getting lots more cousin playtime in!
