A Big Girl Bed. This says it all. Isabelle is now completely out of her crib and in a double bed!!! A couple nights ago she refused to stay in her crib so the next day I canceled the order for her toddler rail, and my parents bought her double bed (Thank you!) Her crib converts so she can use the headboard and foot board from it for her double bed but we are waiting on the rails that connect it all on the sides. So for now she is sleeping on her new double mattress on the floor. And LOVES it!!! I don't think I have ever seen her so excited about something before. I have always thought when this day finally came that she would get up and run around her room and play during the night. Last night she slept for almost 12 hours perfect!!! She took her nap there today great as well, and is sound asleep as I type this. I pray it stays this way!!
We picked our her sheets and my parents also bought her bedding. The comforter is getting washed right now so she doesn't have that tonight, but from the pictures you can tell what it will look like. (It's the same as her two pillow shams). Isabelle loved going out and buying four new pillows and sheets for her bed. And mommy can't wait to start decorating it more to match the purple in her bedding. Right now her room has three green walls and one pink one. I think we will paint purple over the pink to match her bedding, get a new valance and some purple accent decorations. We also moved her rocking chair out of her room and brought her pink chair she got last year up to her room. I will get more official pictures of it up once her room is all complete.
Anyways.....enough on the decorating ideas.....here is our little princess asleep on her big girl bed.
Fun! She's growing up so fast :-( but a bigger bed means more room for stuffed animals! Bethany's is loaded with them too :-)
