Isabelle had another big first today in her life! Her first time using her potty chair!!! I have been setting her on there after meals and talking to her about what it is for and when to sit on it. She usually will try very hard to go and make some serious "pushing" faces. Today after lunch I sat her on there and after a couple minutes she went potty!!!! Isabelle peed in her little potty for the first time!!! I was so proud of her!!!! She got a little extra cookie afterwards. It was the cutest thing, you could tell how proud of herself she was and she was clapping for literally about 10 minutes afterwards saying "yeah!!". And yes of course mommy had her camera with her ready to go, just in case today was the first day! For Isabelle's sake I edited the pictures before posting them as to not "embarrass" her. :)
"Trying" to potty.....
YEAH!!! She was SO HAPPY when she went. And mommy made a very very big deal about it praising her!
And before the potty story, we had a picnic outside again for lunch! Yes Isabelle's plate looks all orange! What can I say she loves her cheesy foods! She ate mac and cheese, peaches, string cheese (her 2nd of the day actually), baked Cheetos, and tried potato salad.
We ended up moving to the picnic blanket while she finished and ate her cookie. :)
Kevin and I are SO proud of Isabelle!!! Hopefully she will start using the potty a little more everyday! GOOD JOB MUNCHKIN!
