An (Attempted) Visit to the Easter Bunny

This morning is cold and raining which means no play time outside so instead I took Isabelle to visit the Easter Bunny!  The poor girl was absolutely terrified!!!!  She would not go within 10 feet of the bunny and was literally shaking head to toe in fear!  Luckily I quickly took her away before any tears came.  Cousin Ava was afraid of the Easter Bunny for several years and it looks like this may have got passed on to Isabelle :).   She did go on two train rides with me afterwards and really enjoyed those!  Here are the pictures I did take from the day.

Walking over the bridge to meet the bunny

This is when she first saw the Easter Bunny....she stopped still in her tracks and was peeking around me at him.  And was not happy.

We quickly walked by the bunny and I grabbed Isabelle an Easter activity book on our way out :)

Now....on to happier times....the train ride!  This is the same train she rode when she visited Santa!

Leaving the mall with a shirt from Gap for herself!

She stopped to "pet" this dog in Von Maur on our way out.  She did not want to leave it!

And in other Isabelle updates:

** Yesterday she used her potty chair 8 times!!! And today she has used it twice already!  I have not changed a "messy" diaper in the past three days thanks to her potty chair!  She is doing amazing and we are so proud of her!

** Since we had a character dining with Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, and Eeyore at Crystal Palace in Disney World we canceled in case Isabelle is still afraid of the characters up close.  We instead made one for dinner at 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian.  This is dining with Cinderella, Prince Charming, the step mother and step sisters.  She did great with another princess dining last time we were down there and liked Santa Clause so I think maybe she doesn't like characters up close that don't look like people :)  She liked all the Disney characters from a safe distance. :)  Plus this restaurant is suppose to be very good!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!
