17 Months!!!

Happy 17 month Birthday to Isabelle Ann!!!!  How is this possible that she is this old??!!!  Next month she will be 1 1/2 years!!!  She is growing up right before our eyes.  She is such a beautiful, loving, sweet little girl.

What does our 17 month old love right now?
  • She loves to give hugs, kisses, and cuddles.
  • She loves to climb into my lap as quickly as possible if something scares her.
  • She loves to play outside so much she will stand at the door and practically try to knock it down or climb through the screen just to get out.
  • She loves to talk!  It seems likes she is saying a new word everyday and each time she says something it is more adorable then the time before.
  • She loves the ABC song and will always tap her knees along to the beat.
  • She loves the song Jesus Loves Me.
  • She loves playing with stuffed animals, dolls, and anything that involves "pretend" play.
  • She loves helping mommy and daddy out.  She will pick up all her toys when asked and bring us anything we ask her for.  She really loves putting groceries away especially on the refrigerator shelves.
  • She loves splashing in the bathtub.
  • She loves coloring, stickers, and books.
  • She loves to have her way.  All the time. :)
  • She loves going to church, her Toddler Time class, and her Praise and Play class.
  • She loves chocolate chip cookies and ice cream.
  • She thankfully also loves fruit.
  • She loves Elly, Disney Princesses, The Beast, Pooh Bear, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Thumper, and Goofy.
  • She loves dogs, cats, pigs, frogs, penguins, bugs, hippos, monkeys......yes she loves ALL animals!
  • She loves when daddy is home to play with her on the weekends!
  • With all the things Isabelle loves, I don't think she can possibly love anything quite as much as we love her!

We had a great day with Isabelle today!! It was unbelievably warm here.  Okay, it wasn't just warm, it was actually hot.  Our house got up to 77 degrees inside and it was 86 outside today!.  We spent pretty much all day outside and of course took lots and lots of pictures!

Isabelle walking into church this morning with her new purse she got yesterday at Gap.  She would not put it down during church and was very happy to carry elly, her Belle barbie doll, the beast, and Minnie around in it!

After church we stayed outside and played until nap time.  Isabelle is enjoying a cookie Grandma made that she brought her yesterday.

It was so nice out we ate lunch outside.  Isabelle sat in my lap and did great!  We ordered her a Little Tike's picnic table last week and it should be arriving in the next couple days! Once it arrives we will probably eat lunch outside everyday!

One of the best things about lunch outside?  No cleaning up to do!!

After lunch Isabelle was very tired and fell right asleep for her nap.  Unfortunately, it was a short nap due to daddy accidentally setting the smoke alarms off during her nap!  She was not very happy, but quickly recovered when she realized that a short nap meant more play time outside!
This afternoon was even hotter then this morning so she wore some crop pants, a tank top, and was slathered in sunscreen.  And from the pictures you can tell she is in need of a new sunhat!  This one just doesn't quite fit anymore!

Wearing the golf balls as a necklace.  She thought she was pretty neat when she put these on!

Kevin grilled Isabelle and him cheeseburgers for dinner.  Isabelle took a couple bites of hers but was more interested in her baked Cheetos, green beans, and cheesy garlic bread.

She was also very happy to get frozen raspberry yogurt for dessert!  (It also had white chocolate chips on top!)

After all that fun, Isabelle was very tired during reading time before bed.

Good night munchkin! Sweet dreams!

Happy 17 month Birthday Isabelle!  Your daddy and I are so proud of you.  You continue to amaze us each and everyday.  Our hearts are full of so much love for you and that love only continues to grow with every passing moment.
