Happy Daddy's Day!!

Happy Fathers Day!  We are having a fun and busy day today with daddy. :) 

Isabelle was very excited to give daddy her card she colored and put stickers all over first thing this morning.  She also gave him a photo book we had made for him.

After breakfast Isabelle went on a car ride!

We then went over to my sister's house to play and for a yummy lunch and my parents came as well!  Isabelle was very excited to see everyone (and especially Jackson!).  Here she is blow drying him. :)

And speaking of nap.......since Isabelle has been born we have always had to rock her to sleep for her naps and bed.  She refused to go to sleep any other way but falling asleep on my arms being rocked in her room.  Today while I started rocking her she was getting fussy, climbed off the rocking chair, and started attempting to climb into her crib.  She cuddled up with her stuffed animals and fell asleep all by herself!!!! I could not believe it!  I wonder if this was just a thing for today of if she will continue this.  I love love love rocking my little girl to sleep but I always think about how she will have to learn to go to sleep on her own and the longer we wait the harder it will be.  But maybe she is ready to at least fall asleep on her own for naps now, what a big girl. 

And happy fathers day to you Kevin.  You are an amazing father to Isabelle.  She lights up when you enter the room and loves to give you hugs and kisses.  We are the luckiest two girls to have you in our lives.  We love you very much!
