While at the mall yesterday with Kevin and I, Isabelle was very persistent about going into the Build-A-Bear store. She was peering through the windows and dragging daddy's hand along into the store. So in we went. I was so excited to have her make her very own Build-A-Bear! She picked out a monkey!! She looked through most of the options and stuck with the monkey, and lets just say she LOVES it. Since she has got it, she has not put it down. It goes everywhere with her, car rides, naps, bedtime, playing, wagon rides, even meals. This is by far her favorite thing that she has actually picked out.
Isabelle sleeping last night with her new monkey (in its new undies)!
This morning at breakfast...there were some tears when she had to part with the monkey, so it sat at the table with her eating a banana. :)
All cleaned up and happy to have it back!
On the way to Toddler Time class.
Back at home teaching her monkey how to use her doll's potty.
And brushing it's teeth.
And giving it something to drink.
She then decorated the monkey's house you get at Build-A-Bear with crayons and stickers. (Although the monkey does not spend anytime in it.....Isabelle is not very happy when we have showed her how the monkey goes in its house and immediately takes it back out)
A wagon ride before bed. :)
The monkey is now snuggled up with Isabelle and Elly in bed. She is heading back to the mall on Thursday to pick out some new clothes for it courtesy of Grandma and Grandpa V!
