Pictures Galore and One Week Old!

It's hard to believe Avrey turned 1 week on Wednesday! She is such a sweet baby and continues to be incredibly calm, an amazing sleeper and eater, and the biggest snuggler I know! We rarely hear a peep from her!  She has the cutest facial expressions and has really started to smile a lot....especially in her sleep.  It is adorable.

Here are some pictures from the past two days.....

She likes laying on her play mat for a little while...until she decides she is too tired and wants to go to sleep, which is usually after being awake for 30 minutes. :)

Tuesday was rainy and a little chilly out but Avrey and I took a nice walk when there was a break in the rain!  Isabelle and Kevin went to her library class on Tuesday and then to Rainbow Playground for a fun daddy/daughter morning!

She also loves to nap in her lamb chair!  I love how cozy she looks!

Tuesday she had her first real bath.  We had been doing sponge baths before.  She was not a fan of it. And you can tell from the pictures how red she turns when she cries during bath time!

Isabelle was a big helper in drying her off!

Some more playtime and story time before bed.  She is usually in bed by 7:00-7:30 and eats during the night around 10:00, 1:30 and 5:00.  Then goes back to bed sleep until 8:00-9:00.

Happy 1 week Birthday Avrey!  She was full of smiles on Wednesday!

 

Unfortunately she had to celebrate her birthday at the doctor again for a jaundice recheck.  She had an appointment with her pediatrician and has gained 4 oz in 2 days! They were impressed! Avrey now weighs 8 pds 10 oz.  After her pediatrician appointment we had to go to the hospital for some lab work for her jaundice.  Thankfully everything came back fine and there is nothing further that we need to do regarding it!

Isabelle was a trooper being taken around to different doctors but lucky for her she just got to watch!

What an incredible first week we had with her.  We love her more then we thought was possible and she continues to bless our lives each and every moment.
