I have been terrible about taking pictures the past week! Partly because our camera battery died and I just now got it changed and ready to go! The lack of pictures however does not mean Isabelle has been lacking in fun! Here is a brief summary of her happenings the past week. :)
Wednesday: Grandma and Grandpa came down to play with her all morning and into the afternoon. They heard about our car troubles and my dad drove around with me to pick up our car and get a new tire. It was extremely helpful since Kevin does not have any time to take off before the big trip in three months and this saved us lots of hassle. Plus Isabelle loves her playtime with Grandma and Grandma!
Thursday: We went to Praise and Play and from what I remember we hung out at home after that and played, played, played.
Friday: Isabelle and I went to her friend Max's house for a morning play date. They had just returned from Disney World and Tara and I had lots and lots of catching up to do about their trip! Isabelle liked checking out Max's new toys from Disney World and getting some ideas of her own. Friday afternoon I took Isabelle to her doctor since she had been tilting her head a lot. Turns out her left ear had a "very mild" ear infection. Just to be safe, we are on medicine for 10 days to clear it all up. We feel very lucky since this is only her 2nd ear infection ever. :)
Saturday: Kevin took Isabelle to Iowa Public Television Studios for a sneak preview screening of The Cat in the Hat. They showed two never before seen episodes and from what I hear Isabelle had lots of fun and came home with some Cat in the Hat goodies. :)
Sunday: We went to church and then hung around most of the day at home. Isabelle was very excited to order Godfathers Pizza for dinner! She loves pizza lately, and really enjoys the big chocolate chip cookies they have for dessert. Yes we ordered one of those too.
Today: Grandma came down this morning and took Isabelle (and I) on a shopping spree to Target. Isabelle received lots of new spring and summer clothes to get her all ready for Disney World! She also walked away with a new owl bath towel and some bunny toys. :)
Everyday: We are literally counting down the days till Disney World. We cannot wait to stay at Caribbean Beach for 11 whole days! I already have the itinerary all typed up and ready to go! Dining reservations are all booked. May 31st cannot come fast enough!
