The flu sure seemed to get ahold of our family this year. Four days after Isabelle got sick, Kevin got sick, and four days after Kevin got sick, I got sick. Luckily Kevin and I's were short lived and the "flu" portion only lasted through the nights we were sick. Unfortunately for Isabelle this meant some long days at home...playing with her toys, over and over again. Thankfully my mom came down yesterday to play with Isabelle so I could sleep (I was sick Saturday night and better by Sunday but so exhausted), and thankfully I am all better now. We hope this is the last sickness our family gets this year!
Anyways...today I knew Isabelle needed to get out of the house and play. So I took her to Rainbow Play....and was incredibly happy that we were literally the only people there the entire time! You can't beat lots of massive play equipment all to yourself! The last time I took her earlier in the fall she still wanted me to help her climb and go down slides. Not this time. She wants to do it all herself! Of course I stand right by to make sure she is okay and of course she was! Our little girl is getting so big!
