An Afternoon in the Snow!

After Isabelle's nap today we spent the afternoon outside in the snow!  Unfortunately mommy forgot to get her snow pants this year so the poor thing had to squeeze into last years so they do look like crop snow pants...but they did the job for today!  :) 

She enjoyed going on a long sled ride around the neighborhood, up and down the bike paths, around the block, and having me run while doing so.  I think I got my workout in for the day! 

Isabelle really wanted to build a snowman, but the snow was hard and not sticking at all.....

So we improvised and made a snowman in the ground! She was so happy!

Until the neighbor's dog you see in the background trampled through it.....:(

So we happily made another in a safer location on the side of the house. :)

Isabelle is keeping guard of this one!

We love you Isabelle!  The next snow we will make a real snowman for you! :)
