Isabelle's big girl bed is officially complete! Her bed rail arrived at Homemakers and we picked them up today! Kevin put her bed together while Isabelle and I played outside and she was SO happy to see it all set up! She LOVES it even more then before, if that is possible! I did stuff some pillows way down in between the wall and the bed, even though there was hardly any room but anyone who knows me knows how I worry so I would rather be safe. :) Now her room is one step closer to being complete! Her new valance is on the way, and I think we are going to get her a nightstand and the lamp and wall hangings that match her bedding. This mommy will be keeping her eye out for some sales! Anyways....here is her "new" bed.
**The little corner shelves previously contained picture frames but until I can rest assured she won't thump into the wall and knock them down they have been safely moved to the dresser.**
She was very excited she could see the top of her tall dresser finally!

In other weekend news...Simba had his annual vet check up on Saturday. He received a clean bill of health with the exception of his weight gain....again. Poor guy. He has been on the lightest, lowest calorie, lowest fat, food Science Diet makes for the past couple of years, but he still gained weight. He now weighs 19 pounds 2 oz. We are now going back to being very, very strict about measuring his food out. I know way too much about diabetes in cats since my cat growing up had it for about 5 years. We need to get Simba healthy! Love you buddy!
