Christmas Cookies with Grandma!

Today my mom came down to make Christmas cookies with Isabelle. :)  Isabelle loves to cut the shapes out and frost them all by herself.  We will make sure to save a few for Santa Claus to eat on Christmas Eve!

After the cookie decorating Isabelle and Grandma played!  Isabelle loves sitting in her sled pretending it's the "Small World" boat from the Disney World ride.  She never stops talking about Disney World!!!  Good thing the next trip is already booked cause she tells us daily she wants to go back now!

Thanks for a fun morning Grandma!

Our Little Sunday Schooler. :)

Sunday mornings Isabelle is so excited to go to Sunday School at church.  She loves all the activities they do there....reading, crafts, songs, play doh, and getting a cookie every time so far.  :)  She also really likes her teachers and the other 3 year olds in her class.  It is so great to see her do something "on her own" and get so excited about it!  It's hard to believe preschool is just right around the corner next fall.  Luckily she will be going to preschool at our church so it will be somewhat familiar to her :)

Isabelle on her way to Sunday School....all smiles!

Today they left the door to her room open so naturally I tried to sneak a few pictures of her doing play doh! :)

We hope you all had a great weekend!  And we are looking forward to the coming week getting ready to celebrate Christmas and all the joy and wonder it brings.

Santa's Message to Isabelle :)

Check out Santa's  personal message to Isabelle. :)

http://www.portablenorthpole.com/watch/mUIicBSeBPQkJjWelDDN4fw\

This is such a cute website!  Santa sent one to her last year also and it is so fun to watch....although Isabelle doesn't think so.  She requested it get turned off immediately. :)  She's not a big fan of Santa....just him bringing her gifts and mommy telling him what she wants for her when we visit him. :)

Enjoy!

Church Programs and Baby Update

This afternoon was Isabelle's church Christmas program.  For the past month she has been practicing with her Sunday school class every Sunday up in front of the church.  She practiced this morning and was very excited for this afternoon.  The program was held at the high schools big auditorium and when it came time to go on stage she did not want to go.  We tried everything and she would not have anything to do with it.  I am sure it was since she had been practicing week after week in her church and knew the surroundings, whereas today was in a big place with tons of people watching.  So she didn't participate this year.  :)  But she sure looked cute in her dress all ready before the program.  I am proud of her for getting up week after week and practicing at church with the teachers and other kids.  We love you Isabelle Ann!

In other news I have been horrible about blogging lately.  I am beyond exhausted all the time!!! I know I am in the 6th month of pregnancy and coupled with the fact that Isabelle has given up all naps probably is making me more tired then normal.
Last Monday we had our 6th ultrasound and everything turned out to be great with our little girl.  We have been getting her room all ready to go as well!  My parents bought the crib which will be arriving soon!  Kevin has the baby's room all painted, new white wooden blinds and valance up, and we bought the baby's dresser.  And yes I have already washed all clothes, bedding, changing pads, towels, etc and put them away or hung up. :)  Plus Isabelle loves looking at the bookshelf and toys in the room. :)  It is so nice to have all this done so I can just relax towards the end of the pregnancy and not worry about organizing everything! :)  Once we get the crib up I will post pictures of her room :)

We hope you all have been having a great December!

Happy 6th Birthday Ava!!

Today my niece Ava turned 6!! It's hard to believe she is already 6 years old! This evening we went to her party at her house.  She had a Care Bear themed party :)  Isabelle did lots of playing downstairs, in Ava and Isaiah's room, and enjoyed lots of ice cream. :)  Enjoy the pictures!

Isabelle opening her presents from Grandma and Grandpa and Uncle Andy's parents!  How nice!! :)

The Birthday Girl!

Cake time!

Tomorrow Ava is having her friend party at a huge play place Triad.  Isabelle is so excited to go to that as well!!! She loves her cousin Ava so much!

Our little party girl also attended another birthday party of one of her friends Evelyn earlier today.  She was there for three hours and had so much fun playing at their house!

Happy Saturday!

Frosty the Snow Cookie

Isabelle has a huge, huge love for Frosty the Snowman right now.  She always wants to watch his movie (thank you Grandma for buying it for her!), read any kind of snowman books, color and draw snowman's, and sing Frosty the Snowman over and over. :)  So it was only a matter of time before we made some Frosty cookies. :)  They turned out very good and Isabelle ate one too many chocolate chips while decorating them.  :)

This is her "please can I have more chocolate chips face" :)

In other Isabelle news...she finally had her 3 year well check up today.  She did so good at the doctor and got a clean bill of health!  She has grown almost 3 inches in the past year and is now 37.5 inches tall, putting her in the 58% for height.  She also gained 7 pounds so is now 33 pounds which puts her in the 70% for weight.  I was shocked since she seems so tiny to me!  Her doctor was very impressed with her growth and Isabelle was very happy to leave with stickers and cookies from her doctor for doing such a good job! :)  We are so proud of you Isabelle!!

Our Angel

Today I had my 20 week 6 day ultrasound.  This makes ultrasound number five for our little girl! With Isabelle I only had one!  Although there have been complications along the way, it has been nice having so many ultrasounds to catch a glimpse of our little angel.  Here are a few pictures from today. :)

This is a 3D of her little face.  It was funny during the 3D part of the ultrasound, Isabelle asked who was on the big TV now.  :)  We told her it was still her sister...but that she would look much more like a baby when she is born. :)

Isabelle also spilled the beans about the babies name to the ultrasound technician. :)  Thankfully she does not know our family or friends so the secret is still safe....for now. :)
We are so thankful for our little angel and words cannot express how much love we have for her already and that love will only multiply every day!

Disney On Ice

Tonight we went to Disney on Ice!! My parents took us and my sisters family, just like last year, and we had a great time!  Second row, floor seats, a bag full of souvenirs for Isabelle, and fun Disney entertainment...what a great way to spend a Sunday evening.  We will just consider it our in between Disney World vacations Disney fix. :)  Enjoy the pictures!

Isabelle loved her snow cones. She had some of this cherry one and a rainbow one...both in fancy light up and princess souinver cups.

Her nemo light up toy!  After the show she also received a starfish stuffed animal, pen, and coloring book! :)

Isabelle was so happy to see one of her favorite Disney World rides in the show!! Small World!

Thank you mom and dad for a great evening surrounded by what our family loves best!  Disney!  Hope you all had a great weekend!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!  We hope you all had a great holiday filled with family and remembering all that you are thankful for!  This year for Thanksgiving we went up to Ames with my family.  It was such a nice day outside (well at least the first half of the day) that there was lots of play time outside!

Amy and I......20 1/2 weeks along!  :)  My sister found out on Tuesday that she is having a GIRL! We are so excited!!!  It will be so fun to have the little girl cousins grow up together!

Time to eat!  Isabelle and I are the plainest eaters in the world.  Just look at our plates! :)

Playing the piano :)

Kevin, Isabelle, and I stayed the night in Ames Thursday night.  Isabelle loves sleeping over at Grandma and Grandpas! She slept for 11 hours without making a peep!  Friday was spent, playing and doing a little shopping before heading back home in the afternoon.  We hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!!!
