I have been terrible about taking pictures this past week. I am not sure why. I forget the camera when we go places or just seem to plain forget to take any. But we have had a busy and fun week, just with no pictures!
Last Sunday Isabelle started her first day in the 3 year old Sunday School program at our church. I was a little nervous she wouldn't want to go in the room without Kevin or I. She has never been in any setting away from us and only had Grandma watch her when I have had doctor appointments throughout the years. She was so excited to start Sunday School and LOVED it. She wanted to go all by herself and did such a good job. Both teachers told us she did great! Kevin and I stayed at the church and waited the whole time and when her hour long class was over she talked about Sunday School for the entire day....well into the week. She loved, loved, loved it, and is so excited to go back tomorrow!
Monday Isabelle had her soccer class again. She loves kicking the ball around and is very good at making goals and doing the jumping jacks during warm up. She isn't so much a fan of the "drills". :) As long as she has fun, then we are happy. :)
Wednesday my mom came down to play with Isabelle in the morning. It turned into playing at home in the morning, off to the mall for lunch and train rides at Santa's North Pole, shopping, and back at our house for tea parties with Grandma :) It was a fun and busy day and I wish I had pictures to remember it by!
Thursday we had our normal Praise and Play class and later that evening went to visit Aunt Amy, Uncle Ray, and cousin Mirabel. Aunt Amy's birthday was on Friday so we went over to bring her gift and Isabelle and Mirabel got to play for a bit. :)
Today Isabelle had a birthday party for her friend Max. She had so much fun and was talking about it tonight as we were falling asleep. :) She loves her friend Max! :)
In other baby news we have started painting (or Kevin has) the baby's room. We are doing three walls a very light pink called "Be Mine" and the window wall a green (which I can't remember the name of). My parents bought us the crib bedding and as soon as that arrived I was off to Home Depot to match up paint samples. It is going to be adorable!
Our little girl has also been kicking like crazy in my tummy. I have started being able to not only feel much stronger kicks inside, but feel them outside as well. And she kicks so hard you can now see the kicks just from looking at my stomach. I love the feeling and it is always so reassuring to know she is in there healthy and active.
Isabelle is still extremely excited about being a big sister. Almost every thing we do somehow her baby sister gets talked about. I am shocked she has still kept the name a secret, lets hope she can do that for another 19 weeks! :)
I promise to be better about taking pictures next week! We hope everyone had a great week and are looking forward to Thanksgiving with family!
