A Special Message from Santa

If you read my sister's blog then you know I completely stole this idea from her!  There is a cute website called the Portable North Pole, in which your child gets a personalized video message from Santa!  You simply enter a few basic bits of information and what your child has been "working on" that year, it's that simple!  You can also upload pictures, but I didn't do that.  Anyways when Isabelle woke up from her nap today she had a special message from Santa just for her!  Needless to say from the expression on her face in the pictures I took while she was watching it, she was less then thrilled.  I don't think she liked Santa talking to her about going to bed when she is asked!  :)

Here is a link to Isabelle's video!

And the pictures of her watching Santa talk just to her!

What else have we been up to this week?  Making Christmas crafts, such as this red and green chain in Isabelle's bedroom, gingerbread houses, and Christmas cookies.

Isabelle also recently discovered our Magic Kingdom game that Kevin and I use to play ALL the time!  She loves setting it all up and looking at everything on the board and putting it all away.  Then setting it all up minutes later.  This continues over and over.  :)

Other random happenings this week:

Isabelle has at least one of her 2nd molars now...I think she has a couple more coming in but I know one for sure is completely in!

We got upgraded to stay at Caribbean Beach Resort at Disney World when we go there next May/June!  Kevin and I haven't stayed there since our honeymoon and we are thrilled to be going back with Isabelle!  Thank you mom and dad! :)

Isabelle hasn't been the easiest to get to bed lately. :) After books are read, teeth are brushed, and she has used the potty, the light is shut off.  She does NOT want to get into bed.  She will literally walk around the hallway saying "No, Don't" over and over and over.  Even though Kevin and I are laying in her room or on her bed and will stay there until she falls asleep.  If we try to leave, she will run after us.  If we put her on the bed, she will jump right off.  Somedays all I can do is laugh and tell myself that it's just a phase, but she needs her sleep!  So needless to say our nighttime routine has become literally almost two hours now!  But I wouldn't trade my time with her for the world.  Someday she will be grown and these are the moments I will miss.

Happy Friday!
