Games, Cousins, and Birthdays

Today was a busy but fun day for us.  Football games, playing with cousins, and celebrating two birthdays marked the festivities of the day.  Kevin, Isabelle, and I went up to Ames to watch the Iowa/Iowa State football game at my parents house.  Ava and Isaiah were there to watch as well, since my sister and Andy had tickets to the game....my parents were watching them.  My birthday is tomorrow, and my brother-in-law Andy's birthday is the day after mine.....so we also celebrated our birthdays with dinner after the game at my parents house.

Amy and Andy came over after the game and we ate dinner.

My favorite....a French Silk pie!  Andy had a delicious cake also!  Isabelle had both! :)

Thanks for a fun day everyone (despite the Iowa loss).   It is always fun to see Isabelle have so much fun with her cousins.  She does not want to leave them when it's time to go, which goes to show how much she loves them.  And happy early Birthday to a great brother-in-law. :)  I am looking forward to spending my birthday tomorrow with my loves, Kevin and Isabelle (and yes, Simba too!).
