Trick or Treating at Homemakers!

This evening Isabelle and I went trick or treating at Homemakers.  Isabelle loved getting to dress up as Tinkerbell again and loved going to all the many stations along the way getting lots of goodies....paddle balls, punch balls, bouncy balls, chips, candy, toothbrushes, juice boxes, fruit snacks, crackers, rice krispie bars to name a few, this place had all the good stuff, and she loved it!  Here are a few pictures from the fun evening!

First Sick Day

Our little Isabelle had her first "sick day" from school today.  :(  Sunday she woke up saying her belly hurt and then hours later threw up.  Luckily she only got sick the one time but the rest of the day she had a 101 fever.  Regardless of how she woke up on Monday I knew I was keeping her home from school.  Thankfully today, she woke up much, much better and enjoyed spending the day at home "resting". :)

 

Sunday afternoon, fever and all, Isabelle was excited to carve a pumpkin.  She requested a kitty, so that is what was carved! I need to take pictures later of the pumpkins once they are all carved and glowing!

While resting at home today Isabelle watched some Disney Junior....

And she did lots and lots of coloring and stickers. :) 

I am glad Isabelle got some rest and relaxation in today and hopefully this bug she had is far behind us now! We need to all stay healthy for all the fun Halloween festivities coming up and for Isabelle's Birthday!


And speaking of rest and relaxation...this little peanut just does not nap much. :)  She will usually take 3 short naps during the day, and by short I mean 30 minutes or less. When I walk in to get her after her nap she is always peeking over the top of her crib with a great big smile on her face.  She is just too cute for words.

Six Month Stats!

This happy little girl had her 6 month check up today (about 2 weeks late!).  She is growing big and strong and is very healthy!!!

 

Avrey weighs in at 18 pds 3 oz (82%) and is now 27.5 inches long (93%)!!! She is one growing little girl!!!  For comparision, Isabelle was about 2 pounds less and an inch shorter at her 6 month check up, which we figured was the case since Avrey wear all 12 month or 12-18 month clothes now!  :) 

 

Our little smiler turned her smile upside down with some big tears when she had to get 5 vaccinations!!! One oral, and 4 shots...2 in each of her cute chubby legs.  My poor baby! And as Avrey usually does after vaccinations, she ran a high fever today of 101.9, but is thankfully sound asleep now and will feel all better tomorrow!

Family Sunday

It seems like I haven't blogged in forever!! We have been busy with preschool, playing at parks and outside, having picnics, making lots of fall crafts, getting ready (and doing some shopping) for Isabelle's 4th Birthday coming up, making our packing lists for Disney World and buying all the baby things we need to take with us!  It has been a very fun fall and we are loving every minute of it!

 

Yesterday after Sunday School, we went up to my parents house for the day.  My sister's family was there as well as my cousin Rochelle and her boyfriend from Kansas, and my Uncle Dave.  We were celebrating Rochelle and Dave's birthday's that were the week before.  We had lots of fun there! Avrey took a nice nap in her stroller on a walk, enjoyed swinging in grandma's lap outside, played lots with Violet, and smiled at everyone!  Isabelle of course just loved playing with Ava and Isaiah and was glued to their sides the entire day. :)  She looks up to them so much!

We love our family time and we can't wait for our trip to Disney World will all 11 of us!!! It will be so much fun!!!!

 

Happy 6 Months Avrey Ann

Happy 6 months to my little Avrey Ann.
How is it possible that she has gone from this newborn on April 3rd.....

To my little baby at 6 months old today?

Time, please slow down.  I do not want my little baby growing up this fast.  It makes me incredibly grateful and feel incredibly blessed that I spend all hours of my day with her.  I do not want to miss a thing and I love, love, love every moment with her.

At six months Avrey is so active.  She can get across a room in no time at all.  She will roll across the room, turn in full circles over and over again on her belly, and push her way across the room on her tummy.  She is so strong! She also loves getting up on her knees with her bottom and her belly high in the air and up on her forearms as if she will take off crawling.  We have one strong little girl!

Avrey still is a great sleeper.  Ever since turning 4 months she has slept through every night  (with the exception of 2).  She usually is asleep around 7:45 at night and sleeps till about 7:30am.  She falls asleep on her back but always wakes up on her tummy. She takes three naps a day, usually about 45 minutes each.  Somedays she will take a 2 hour nap during the day and on those days she only naps twice.  She will still fall asleep just about anywhere....her stroller, carseat, being held, rocked, in her swing, even on the living room floor as she did yesterday in the middle of the day.  :)

Avrey eats 4 bottles during the day, usually around 7:30, 11:30, 3:00, and 7:00 before bed.  She also eats two meals a day in her highchair.  She eats a breakfast of either mixed fruit or a fruit mixed with oatmeal (any stage 2 Gerber combination), and she eats a dinner of a tub of stage 2 baby foods along with a few broken up Puffs. :)  She loves eating in her highchair and has liked everything we have tried so far.

Avrey is still the most easy going baby.  She just goes along with whatever we are doing and is such a trooper.  She is so happy and usually always has a smile across her face, even when just playing.  She gets very, very excited anytime she hears Isabelle's voice or sees her and watches her constantly.  Avrey loves to play sitting up and can now sit up totally unassisted to play for as long as she wants until she decides its time for a new position.  She will sit for 15 minutes or so at a time with no help and play with her toys. She can now also pull herself up to a standing position from sitting on her princess car and looks around smiling for congratulations.

The past six months have gone by in the blink of an eye....I can't wait to see what the next six have in store as you continue to grow into the most beautiful little girl.  Mommy, Daddy, and Isabelle love you with all our hearts Avrey Ann!

Sunday at Howell's Pumpkin Patch!

Sunday after church our family spent the entire afternoon at Howell's Pumpkin Patch.  We had so much fun with everything the pumpkin patch had! It was a great way to spend a beautiful Sunday afternoon!

We spent a lot of time in the kids area! There was so much to do!

Then it was off to see the cute animals!

Then we found some pumpkins and Isabelle spent a long time cleaning her little ones off in the pumpkin washing station. :)

Isabelle and I went on the very bumpy hay rack ride while Avrey slept in her stroller with daddy :)
