Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa Van Slyke's

Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa Van Slyke's was full of family, playing, chasing cousins around the house, playing, laughing, having fun, and opening lots and lots of gifts very quickly. :)

Eating her favorite chocolate chip banana muffins :)

Ava reading to Isabelle :)

The gift opening begins!

Isabelle loves her Figaro vet kit and stuffed animal!

A visit and Grandma and Grandpa's would not be complete without playing the piano with cousins!

In her new jammies!

Crafts with Grandma

Kevin and I (and baby!)

Doing her favorite thing in the world....reading books.

My mom's birthday is a few days before Christmas so we celebrated with cake and ice cream after dinner.  Isabelle loves helping blow the candles out!

We had a great Christmas celebration with family!  Isabelle has been enjoying playing with all her new toys and crafts.  Now if I could only find room to put everything!!!  Happy Holidays!

Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa Larsen's

Christmas afternoon we went to Grandma and Grandpa Larsen's to celebrate Christmas with them.  Kevin's parents, his brother, his aunt and uncle, cousin, and his Grandma were all there along with us.  Isabelle opened so many gifts and enjoyed playing with them as well!!

She likes to have pillow fights on Grandma and Grandpa's bed! :)

Opening all her gifts! (And daddy and mommy's too!) :)

Her baby sister got a present too...a new bumbo chair! :)  Isabelle loved trying out the seat :)

We had a great Christmas at the Larsen's and are very thankful for everything we received.  It was a busy and great Christmas day!  Stay tuned for pictures from Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa Van Slykes the following day!

A Very Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas!  We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas surrounded by those you love.
Isabelle woke up right at 8am so excited to go open presents and see what Santa had left her!  She ran downstairs faster then I could keep up with her!

Santa left Isabelle an abundance of gifts!

Opening her stocking!

She wanted to open all the presents under the tree first before opening Santa's.  She had so many presents it was impossible to get a picture of them all or even most of them...but here are the few we did get!  :)

Simba got a new feather wand from Santa and a package of catnip toys from us!

She opened Kevin and I's gifts as well as the ones for her baby sister. :)  She loves to open presents, regardless if they are for her or not!

On to the Santa presents!

She played with her toys most of the morning, especially her cash register which she loves, and her Doc McStuffins, and Little Mommy Doctor doll and all her Lalaloopsy stuff!  We then headed over to Kevin's parents for the afternoon for Christmas at their house.  I will post pictures from that soon!  We wish you all a Merry Christmas!

Twas the Night Before Christmas

The night before Christmas was spent getting ready for Christmas Eve church service (or in our case the early 4:00 Christmas Eve service our church offers...so nice with little kids!)

Sitting very good during church, doing stickers and patiently waiting for candles to be lighted and sing Silent Night.

Sprinkling Reindeer Food on the front porch to help guide the Reindeer to our house!

Putting out cookies and milk for Santa and posing for silly pictures by all 5 stockings :)

Isabelle is so excited for Christmas morning, and she should be! I happened to catch a glimpse of what Santa left and I wonder...what didn't he bring her!? :)  The living room is overflowing with gifts!  We hope you all had a great Christmas Eve, celebrating Jesus' birth.

These are just two pictures of Isabelle in our first snow...we got over 13 inches in one night. She isn't a big fan of the cold or the snow........she has been outside a total of 2 minutes since it snowed.  She says its just too cold!  And I can't blame her there! We love our warmer weather in this house!  But she wanted to check it out!

In other news, I had my 25 week doctor appointment for our baby girl this morning and everything is still going great.  It's looking like my c-section will be scheduled for April 3rd (although this will be official once its booked in a few weeks) that is the date my doctor gave.  It's hard to believe I only have 14 more weeks of being pregnant with her!  She is extremely active and kicks and moves around non stop.....lliterally, all day and night.  We can't wait to have her here!
