A Very Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas!  We hope you all had a wonderful holiday filled with family, friends, food, faith, fun, and surprises from Santa!  With the mass amount of pictures that we have taken over the past couple days, I decided to do our Christmas post into three separate ones.  One for our family Christmas at home, and then one at each of our parents house.  :)

Christmas morning Kevin and I were actually up before Isabelle!  I bet that won't happen for many more years!  She usually doesn't wake up until 8am and Christmas was no different.  But when she did wake up, she was so excited to race down the stairs to see what Santa left.  And Santa sure did leave a lot!

I tried to get a picture of her opening every gift....I did the best I could!  Enjoy the pictures!

This is a vanity and piano!

This picture makes me laugh.  Isabelle is such an organized, neat little girl, that even while opening her presents she had to hand Kevin each little piece of wrapping paper and make sure it was thrown away before continuing to open.  That's my girl :)

Simba decided to join the fun and see what Santa left him!

Isabelle LOVES the Toy Story movies.  She already had Buzz, Woody, and Potato Head so Santa brought her Jesse, Bullseye, and Slinky. :)

On to mommy and daddy's presents. :)

Simba gave Isabelle Cheshire Cat.  He has a little toy one and she always carries it around.  So Simba decided to get his sister her own. :)

More paper to get daddy!

We had a great Christmas morning at home.  Kevin and I love being at home Christmas morning and have said many times we would never want to be anywhere else. (Unless it was Disney World when our children are older:)  We love having Isabelle wake up at her own house and seeing her excitement that Santa came.  After a busy morning, we headed to my parents house for the day.  Pictures from that will come soon!  Merry Christmas!

Happy Christmas Eve!

Happy Christmas Eve!  We had a fun day before Christmas today! This morning we let Isabelle pick out one present from under the tree to open today.  She selected the one from her brother Simba!  She loves opening presents and was very excited to get a head start into tomorrows festivities. :)

It's Abby Cadabby!  Isabelle specifically asked for an Abby doll for Christmas! :)

This afternoon we went to Christmas Eve service at my parents church in Ames.  We went to the 4:30 service so that we could be home in time for Isabelle's bedtime.  Here is our little girl and Grandma and Grandpas before church in her cute Christmas dress. :)

And at church with the family.

Tonight back at home she set cookies and milk out for Santa and carrots out for his reindeer.

Holding her Clifford and Curious George she took from Grandma and Grandpas today. :)

A key for Santa  :)

She stuck her finger in the white milk and tried it.....not a fan.  Our girl only drinks chocolate.  Unfortunately we forgot to put the milk away and Simba (who is completely lactose intolerant) got a hold of it and ended up throwing up three times.  Poor guy. :(

We hope you all had a great Christmas Eve anticipating the birth of Jesus and enjoying time with loved ones.
