Where is Spring?

Where oh where is spring?  Yesterday the weather said it was going to be 72 degrees here.  I don't think it got above the mid 40's today.  It was cloudy, windy, raining off and on, and did not feel like spring.  Isabelle did play outside for a bit today, however she was all bundled up like it was winter! 

Sometimes I think I post way to many pictures and blog too much.....but a wonderful cousin of mine once said "you can't have too many pictures for family that lives far away."  So here are lots of pictures from today. :)

When Isabelle went downstairs today the first thing she did was put her two babies in this rocking chair and start rocking them back at forth.  So cute.  This chair was actually my dad's when he was little and was then passed down to me.  Isabelle is the lucky owner of it now!  I hope it holds up!

 I asked her she could get her babies something to eat and she brought them back vegetables one by one and fed them to her babies.  At least someone is eating veggies around this house. :)

Lunch time of pears, grilled cheese, chicken, cheez-it snack mix, and string cheese.  Yes, Isabelle LOVES cheese.  Almost more then I do.

After her nap this afternoon.  She looks like she is about ready to fall asleep again!

Isabelle had lots of fun today and so did the Easter Bunny, who even did a little shopping today and bought her the Step2 Naturally Playful sandbox!  Now hopefully the Easter Bunny can wait till Easter to let her have it!  :)

Our Weekend In Pictures

Playing in the Park

It was yet another gorgeous day today.  The sun was shining and it was in the upper 50's.  After Isabelle's nap we headed up to the park.  Luckily we have two parks right along the bike path behind our house and they are only a short little walk away.  Isabelle had lots of fun and was very happy to have the whole park to herself! I couldn't believe it!  As usual, lots of pictures were taken!

Run, Run, Run!

Isabelle loved the sand so much!  Maybe the Easter Bunny will be bringing a sandbox to our house!

We had a great time at the park and when we got home Isabelle wanted to play outside for another hour.  She loves the outdoors!  We can't wait to get lots of playtime outside with Daddy too this weekend!

Spring is in the Air

With the start of spring only a couple days away we have been doing as much "spring-like" activities as possible!  Kevin had the morning off today and after breakfast we all three watched "Spring for Strawberry Shortcake".  After that while the weather was still on the cool side we decided to go to Rainbow Play and have lots of fun with daddy there!  But... not before a quick stop to pick Isabelle up some new outdoor toys!  She picked out a mini golf caddy in pink, complete with three golf clubs and three golf balls, along with a rake, shovel and hoe.  All for only $7.50!! Can't beat that!  She loved them so much she wanted to carry them with her in the car on the way to Rainbow!

After a fun morning, we headed home and all ate lunch together.  Kevin then went to work and Isabelle took a nap while mommy cleaned out and organized the garage to get ready for spring!  Winter things in back, summer things in front!  Anything organizing I LOVE to do!  Isabelle woke up from her nap to the windows open in our house and warm, sunny, 67 degree weather!  Time to play outside!

We got this outdoor storage box today at Target.  I have been wanting one forever and with all her outdoor toys we have (and will have) we decided it was time.  I love this one cause you can also use it as a seat.  We put it in her play area!

Isabelle was collecting the golf balls and putting them in her bucket.

Time for a tricycle ride.  I am not sure why the past couple times she has rode this she decides she wants off when we are the furthest from home. :)

All that fresh air and running around today made for one sleepy girl! She was sound asleep in her crib shortly after 7:00.
