Disney Junior Live - Pirate and Princess Adventure!

This afternoon after Sunday School, Isabelle and I headed downtown for a Disney Junior Live on Stage show! It was a Pirate and Princess Adventure theme and she LOVED it!!! I don't think anyone loves Disney Junior more then her!! She was so excited to see Sofia the First and Doc McStuffins especially! We had great floor seats and Isabelle even lucked out with an aisle seat so we had tons of room! Enjoy the pictures!

 

Of course our princess wore her finest Cinderella gown and crown while enjoying two of her favorite snacks. :)

Mickey and Minnie were there! Isabelle said that they sure had a long way back to go to Disney World after the show. :)

She was soooo excited and happy that Cinderella was in the Sofia show!!!

After intermission was Jake and the Neverland Pirates!

She spent lots of time collecting Jake's gold coins that fell from the ceiling at the end! We came home with about 20!

 

We had a great Isabelle and mommy afternoon doing the next best thing to being in Disney World...a Disney show!! :)

And of course I was so happy to see my little peanut afterwards.  She makes my heart so happy. :)

Sick Little Avrey AND Keeping Isabelle Busy :)

It's been a rough week for our little Avrey.  Last week she started getting a cough, turned runny nose, turned rattly sound when she was breathing.  It kept getting worse and worse and she was getting very uncomfortable at times.   I knew this was no normal viral infection so I took her in the doctor.  They immediately said she had wheezing/fluid in her lungs and to top it off an ear infection (which she had shown no signs of).  The doctor explained that her airways were pretty much shrinking and constricting more and more which causes the wheezing and makes it difficult for her to breathe  They put her on a nebulizer at the doctor and we now have the machine at home with us to do several breathing treatments on her per day for a while now.  She doesn't seem improved at all to me (actually today she seemed worse) but they said it will take a while for her to get better as the treatments only temporarily open her airways up, which is why we do them so often. 

So for a while now, Avrey is at home taking her ear infection medicine and doing her breathing treatments.  It is no surprise to me that she is handling it all so bravely.  She leans forward into her little mask every time, doesn't cry, and calmly sits there until its over.  I wonder she can notice a difference right away and likes that she can breathe easier.  Either way, she is such a brave girl for all she is going through at such a young age!

With Avrey at home trying to get better and avoid any further germs, Isabelle has still been keeping busy and getting out so that she is not stuck at home all day too!  Thursday my parents came down and took her out to lunch and shopping at the mall!  She had so much fun and was so excited and happy!  Thank you mom and dad! You were a life saver that day!!!

Today Kevin took Isabelle to Chucky Cheese for the afternoon and dinner.  She loved it so much she said she wanted to have her birthday party there (which is what she tends to say when really, really likes someplace!)  Here are some pictures of Isabelle and Daddy's fun evening! 

This is apparently the teacup ride (or the hot cocoa ride).  Isabelle said it was like the teacups and Disney World.....almost. :)

 

Isabelle has also been keeping very busy making lots and lots of Valentine crafts and getting her Valentine's and goody bags all ready for her party at preschool next week!  She is so excited!

10 months and Princess Isabelle

My little peanut is 10 months old today!!! Only 2 more months till her 1st birthday!?!?! These 10 months have flown by way too fast. 

 

Avrey is still the sweetest, smiliest little girl she was the day she was born. She is so easy going and such a happy little girl.  She loves walking along with her stroller and car, and will even walk now holding on to just one of our hands along side us.  She loves crawling up the stairs, loves standing on the back sliding doors looking outside, and loves standing and walking along the kitchen cupboards trying to open each and everyone.  She has started to stand for a few seconds on her own and will take 1-2 steps towards a couch.  She is a little girl on the move!

 

Avrey also ADORES Isabelle, she lights up around her and always wants to make sure she can see her and be with her.  She also really loves Simba lately, she will always laugh and smile and him and loves to pet him! :)  He is getting lots of love these days! :)

 

Avrey still has formula twice a day, once around 10am before her morning nap and once before bed.  She also loves to eat her 3 meals and 1 snack a day like a big girl! She loves grilled cheese still, pasta, kiwis, mango's, mac and cheese, strawberries, applesauce, apples, yogurt, goldfish crackers, Ritz crackers, deli meats, shredded cheeses, peas, carrots, white grape juice, biscuits, blueberry waffles, muffins, bananas, and still loves her yogurt melts! She will eat the occasional veggie burger cut up or the meatless meatballs I make her covered in tomato sauce. :)  But other then deli meat is not a fan of meats at all (just like her mommy and sister!)

 

She is still the cuddliest little girl and loves to be rocked to sleep at night.  I would not change that for the world.  I tend to hold her way past when she falls asleep and savor every last snuggle with her. She is such a cuddle bug at night times!

 

Avrey's dislikes at 10 months are getting changed (mainly because she does not like to sit still!), being held by someone other then Kevin and I for too long, getting something taken away from her, and getting out of the bath (but who can blame her in this cold winter!)

Mommy, Daddy, Isabelle, and Simba love you so much Avrey Ann.  You are truly a gift from God and love you more and more and more and more each and every minute of each and every day.

And here are a few pictures of our other princess Isabelle.  She will not be at home without being in a Princess dress.  The second we get home from anywhere on the dresses go.  Whether it's Ariel, Cinderella, Tinkerbell, Belle, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, or Rapunzel, she lives in them!!!! She is already planning on wearing them all during our next upcoming Disney World trip!  :)
