Christmas Celebrations Continue!

Our Christmas celebrations lasted all of last week!  Friday we went to Kevin's sister's house to exchange gifts with them and Saturday morning we went to Grandma and Grandpa Larsen's house with Uncle Dan also.  Isabelle had so much fun and Avrey did too, although I could tell she just wasn't feeling well Saturday. She was just not herself, fussy, and was getting feverish. (The poor little thing ended up in the ER Sunday morning at 5:30 with a 105.7 fever!!!!!!!) But before we get to that...here are some pictures from Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa Larsen's!

Unfortunately the battery in our camera died right after this picture. :(  We really need to be better about having it charged!!!

Here are a few other pictures from last week as well!
The day after Christmas!

Since Isabelle never naps she likes to have "resting" time and watch a little Disney Junior on mommy and daddy's bed. :)  Although her resting time can be at 9am or 6pm or anywhere in between.  She just likes to make sure that Doc McStuffins or Henry Hugglemonster is on :)

Avrey standing on the couch like she does all the time.  She can now cruise the furniture like a pro!!!

My little peanut before bed tonight. :)  Babies just look so cozy in their jammies.

That concludes our Christmas celebrations. Our New Years was spent in our jammies and all asleep by 9:30!! Perfect if you ask me!!! :)  2014 will be a great year and we can't wait to watch our little girls grow!

(And for all those wondering about Avrey, she is on an antibiotic still for about 10 days, had a doctor appointment Tuesday, and will be doing some follow up testing at the hospital coming up.  She will be having a VCUG test done most likely followed by a renal exam to further check her kidneys.  We pray everything turns out fine with these tests and that we are able to get through them.  I have heard they are just horrible to have children go through.  I am absolutely dreading them but I know they are necessary and that Avrey won't remember them, it will just not be a fun day at the hospital.  We will take all the prayers we can get for our little girl!)

Christmas at Grandpa and Grandma's!

Christmas afternoon we spent up in Ames at my parents house celebrating with Grandpa, Grandma, my sisters family, and my Uncle Dave.  The cousins had so much fun playing, opening and playing with their gifts, frosting Christmas cookies, and just enjoying each other's company!
Here are some pictures from Christmas afternoon!

Once we were back at home in the evening, Isabelle had to put away and organize every single thing she received!  And she wanted most of it besides the puzzles and games in her room.  Luckily organizing is one of my favorite things to do so she had lots of help from me! :)  And we did make a trip to Target the next day for some purple storage drawers to hold all her crafty stuff in her room. :)

Thanks for a wonderful Christmas afternoon mom and dad!

Christmas Morning!

Is it seriously 2014 already?  Where has the past week gone!?  Kevin had 9 days off for the holidays, and we had so much fun with family, staying at home playing with so many new things, doing countless crafty things, going to the movie Frozen with family, too many doctor appointments, and taking care of little Avrey who spent Sunday in the emergency room.  First lets back track to Christmas morning!

Isabelle was sooooooo excited to run down stairs Christmas morning and see what Santa left her and Avrey! She was so happy to see Santa left her a note and ate his cookies and that the reindeer had ate their food she left them outside! Avrey slept for about an hour later then Isabelle and then was happy to join in on the fun and have Isabelle open her gifts for her! We were so blessed to have Avrey have her first Christmas, our two little girls are everything to us.

I took so many pictures on Christmas morning...here are just a few. :)

We hope everyone had a Merry Christmas celebrating the birth of Jesus!!!
