Incredible Fun

Our little no napper decided today that she in fact wanted to nap.  Around 3:30 she climbed in my lap in a chair I was sitting in, laid her head on my shoulder and fell asleep within minutes.  I then laid her in bed where she slept till 5:00.  I was shocked!  Isabelle has not napped since turning 3 and without naps is ready for bed usually around 7:00 and asleep by 8:00 at the latest.  I knew that with her napping so late she would be up for a long time!  We decided it would be a great night to visit Incredible Pizza, and it was.  She was free, and they had a special where we could all do any game (go karts, bowling, mini golf, everything) for $7 total for all of us!  We couldn't pass that up!  Isabelle had so much fun and did not want go home! 

Playing on the kids playground...she was frozen in her spot when the song "It's a Small World" came on the carousel right behind her.  "Just like Disney World" she said!

We all had a great night, and Isabelle was so wired she didn't fall asleep until 10:15!  Whoops! :)  As long as she is happy, so are we. :)

Our Basketball Star

This evening marked the start of a month of basketball for Isabelle on Monday nights.  Just like with her soccer this past November, she is signed up for the "Beginners Basketball" for 3 and 4 year olds.  She loved playing on her own when we got there.....and much like soccer, was not too interested in doing the drills.  (Such as defensive moves and dribbling up and down the court.)  Afterwards she told me she liked basketball but didn't like being told what to do. :) :)  Sounds like our Isabelle!!! :)

Up the Ladder and Down the Slide

Somebody was sure happy when I asked her is she wanted to go play at Backyard Adventures this morning. :)

Isabelle had so much fun.  We were there for over 2 hours and she went up and down the slides probably 50 or more times!  I love having free passes to this place!!! :)

What a fun, busy morning Isabelle had!  Love you peanut!

Swimming on a Snowy Day

Today was another chilly, snowy day here so what better way to spend the day but swimming in a warm 86 degree indoor swimming pool!  Isabelle had so much fun jumping in, going for rides in her turtle, and playing catch with the ball.  It was the perfect way to spend a snowy Saturday!

There were lots of laps around the pool in the turtle!

Happy 60th Birthday Grandma Larsen!!

Grandma Larsen turned 60 on Thursday...so Friday there was a surprise birthday party for her!  It was full of family, friends, food, and cake!  Isabelle loved the chocolate candies and running around the hotel hallways. :)  We were glad we were able to celebrate this special birthday for a special person...Grandma Larsen!
