Happy Birthday Amy!!

My sister, Amy, turned 32 today!  Happy Birthday!!! She also had the day off of work today so Isabelle and I headed up there after naps for a play date with her cousins and grill out with family for her birthday.  Kevin unfortunately doesn't get off of work until 7:00 so he couldn't go, but we did bring him lots of yummy food home!  Isabelle loves playing with Ava and Isaiah, and really really really loves their BIG dog Jackson.  She was all smiles around him and was very excited to feed him food from the table and get lots of kisses from him.  :)

Enjoying a ride on Ava's Dora trike before a brief rainfall

Playtime before dinner!

Isabelle wanted Ava to try on a Disney Princess dress up shoe :)

Loves the Barbie dream house

Isabelle's favorite dog!

Dinner time!

Happy Birthday Amy! You are the best sister in the world and an amazing friend to me.  I am so happy that we are so close to each other and continue to get closer with every passing year.  We love you! And Isabelle loves her Aunt Amy very much!

1 1/2 Years Old!

Happy 18 months to Isabelle Ann!!! How is it possible that she is 1 1/2!!??  She is now going on closer to being 2 then 1!!  It is truly amazing how much she has changed and grown up, especially in the past several months. She is such a big girl and the biggest joy in our lives.  Kevin and I could not be more proud to be Isabelle's mommy and daddy.  What an honor to have her as our daughter.

At 1 1/2 Isabelle loves:
Giving hugs, kisses, stuffed animals, mommy, daddy, stickers, being outside, Simba, dogs, all animals actually, bugs, flowers, trees, Italian food (especially alfredo pasta, cheesy garlic bread, pizza, spaghetti!), cookies, ice cream, all sweets, fruit, string cheese, juice, water, books, bedtime, playing in her sandbox, Praise and Play class, Toddler Time class, play dates, Mickey and Minnie, Pooh and friends, Dora, Barbies, pictures, running, laughing, and being cuddled.

At 1 1/2 Isabelle does not like:
Vegetables, being alone (when she wakes up alone or we leave the room for a brief second), daddy leaving in the morning, most meats lately, not getting her way, having something taken away from her, the sound of really loud wind, balloons (unless they have a friendly character on them I think), when Elly has to get a "bath" in the washing machine, and having a diaper put on.

Here is our little princess on her 18 month Birthday today!

Love that big smile!

She use to like balloons.  Apparently that changed over the past couple months.  She got a balloon today at the library and is terrified.  Needless to say the balloon is now in the garage.

She LOVES Simba!  And really loves to pet him, with extremely close supervision!

We love you Isabelle!  You are the best thing in our lives and bring us so much joy and happiness.  We thank God for you each and everyday.  Our hearts grow more full of love for you with every passing moment.  Happy 1 1/2 years!

Grandpa's Track Meet

My dad has coached middle school track for Ames for as long as I can remember.  This afternoon they had a meet down in Waukee.  I have always tried to get to at least one meet a year when they are down near us so today Isabelle and I went too watch!  Grandma came down too, although I think she came more to see Isabelle then she did for the meet. :)  We didn't stay too long since it was super windy out and Isabelle was getting hungry for dinner.  But she did go for a while to cheer on the field events!

Waiting at our house for Grandma to arrive so we could go to the meet.

Cheering on Ames Middle School!

Showing Coach Grandpa what she brought in her purse.

Time to run around.....

Isabelle loves picking dandelions!  She picked tons of them and gave them all to Grandma.  Our yard is dandelion free thanks to her picking all the "yellow flowers"!

We had a great afternoon and Isabelle, Grandma, and I went to Wendy's for dinner before heading home.  Isabelle fell fast asleep, and maybe is having dreams of being a little track star someday!  Happy Monday!
