Walt Disney World Vacation - Day 2

(Disclaimer:  There are TONS of pictures on this blog, mainly so we can keep this as a journal to have in the future)

On day 2 of our vacation (December 1st) we headed over to the Magic Kingdom around 8:30am.  We had a reservation for breakfast at The Crystal Palace, or as we always call it "Breakfast With Pooh."

This picture is really sad....but also really cute.  Isabelle was not a fan of piglet coming up from behind her.  She was terrified.  Poor little thing.  We kept a safe distance the rest of the breakfast.  Later in the trip she warmed up a bit and waved and smiled from a safe distance. :)

After breakfast we all walked over to the Adventureland section of the Magic Kingdom.  Isabelle fell asleep in her stroller right away so we did some walking around for a while.

We then walked over to Fantasyland.....this picture is of the new Fantasyland expansion underway and the wall they have up seperating it from the park.

Isabelle woke up from her nap while we were resting at a table.  We then decided it was time for her to ride some classic Disney World rides!

First up......It's A Small World......Isabelle LOVED it!

Next we walked over to The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh

All seated in the honey pot ready for the ride!  Isabelle really liked the Pooh ride and waived good-bye to Pooh at the end.

Next up.....Peter Pan's Flight.  No pictures were taken while on the ride as Kevin video taped and I held on very, very tightly to Isabelle since this ride was up high :)

After all the rides, Isabelle was sleepy and took another nap in her stroller.  During this time Kevin went to The Hall of Presidents and Isabelle and I did a little shopping at the Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe and took in the sights from the park.

After Isabelle's nap, Kevin and I headed over to Toontown with her.  She absolutely LOVES Mickey and Minnie Mouse (and anything and everything that their picture is on)!

Next we headed over to the castle for an early dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table.  Isabelle got to meet the Disney Princess' and get her picture taken with each one.  I had never ate here before so it was great to be at some place new and really fun eating in the castle!

We had a great first two days at Disney World and were ready to go for day three!

Walt Disney World Vacation - Day 1

We are back from our amazing vacation at Walt Disney World in Florida!!  We left bright and early November 30th, and got home last night around 9:00.  My parents were so generous in taking us and my sisters family, and we could not be more grateful for everything they did for us.  In an effort to avoid a hundred page blog, I decided to do each day as a seperate post.  So here are the events from day 1!!

Tuesday November 30th

We woke Isabelle up just before 5 am and headed to the airport with her in her pajamas.  She was very cheerful for being woke up so early and wanted to walk through the airport herself.

On the airplane ride to Houston.  She did a great job on the flight and kept entertained with books, toys, and a portable dvd player we packed.

Back at the hotel getting ready for bed after a busy day.  (The room was actually nice and put together when we arrived but I did a very thorough check for bed bugs before we settled in and pretty much tore apart the beds.  And of course there were none to be found)
